London - 04 March 2026: Leading independent international broadcaster Viasat World has confirmed its entry into the Maltese market, marking another milestone in its continued expansion across Europe. Through a new distribution agreement with Melita TV, Viasat World now brings a curated portfolio of TV channels to a broad new audience in Malta, further strengthening its footprint in the region.

Melita TV subscribers can now access five of Viasat World’s channels, including its established factual portfolio, Viasat History, Viasat Explore and Viasat Nature, alongside its premium series channel Epic Drama and the recently launched Viasat True Crime – all available within Melita’s L package.
